Attendance

Craven County Schools believes that "School attendance and class participation are integral parts of academic achievement and the teaching-learning process." (Policy Code: 4400 Attendance).  In the event that your student misses school due to personal illness, injury, or another reason outlined in the "Excused Absences" section of Board Policy 4400, however, please email an absence note to HJM_Attendance@cravenk12.org within five days of your student's return to school.  This will be the only way to submit attendance notes for the 2025-26 school year.
